Couple offers trusting home for abused animals

Muscatine Journal - Gibson-Ellis said the first animal she and her husband rescued, back in April 2002, was a Pomeranian named Cosmo, who died last summer. Cosmo had a spinal injury and, like some of their other dogs, came from a house where there was domestic abuse.
